Now create the path around the subject. Duplicate the image to avoid any damage and hide one layer. Finally remove rest of the background by using pen tool or you can use Eraser tool and place a transparent background layer. Do it softly so that you do not lose soft edge of your subject like stray hair, fur, etc. Then Utilize the Background Eraser tool just around the soft edge to remove background. The setting can vary depending on your image requirement. Choose Background Eraser tool and do settings as we have shown on the below snapshot. Finally, place the layer under the image layer that you work with to remove background. The color should be contrasting to your subject’s soft edge. 
Go to Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer from the bottom of the layer panel and take Solid Color. Our technique of making image background transparent is applicable on any type of images. It is better if you select a contrasting image background, but don’t worry. You can select any image for removing background and getting a transparent backdrop.
